Lexxio's plans and what each one includes
Lexxio has a free tier and two paid plans. Here's what changes at each one, and how the monthly translation works.
Overview
Lexxio is free to download, and getting books in is free too: import your own EPUBs, search public-domain titles from Project Gutenberg, and borrow a Lexxio Original, none of which needs a plan. Two paid plans add AI translation, the reading tools built around it, and everything downstream of that: Reader and Pro.
What's in each plan
Free. Import your own EPUBs, search public-domain titles from Project Gutenberg, and back up or restore your library. Without an account you can borrow one Lexxio Original; a free account raises that to two at a time. Some Originals need an account either way, because their text is delivered encrypted. What the free tier does not include is AI translation, or anything built on top of it.
Reader ($8.99/month, $6.99 for your first year as an early access member). Everything you need to read a real book in another language: AI translation for imported books, about 500 pages of translation a month, one language workspace, the built-in dictionary, sentence explanations, vocabulary previews, chapter reviews, conjugation tables, and Lexxio Originals.
Pro ($16.99/month, $12.99 for your first year as an early access member). Everything in Reader, plus the full mobile app with your library synced from desktop, up to 10 language workspaces at once, about 1,500 pages of translation a month, everything Lexxio Verbs does, and Coach.
Pro also includes Lexxio's Mandarin tools (pinyin, hanzi, stroke order, and tone practice), which currently make up the app's CJK support.
How the monthly translation works
A page is about 300 words, and the monthly amount pays for AI work: translating a book, re-translating a sentence, dictionary lookups, sentence explanations, follow-up questions, vocabulary previews, chapter review quizzes, and conjugation tables. Reading itself is unlimited, and so are flashcards, practice and listening to a book read aloud.
It resets at the start of each billing cycle. It doesn't roll over, so a light month doesn't bank anything for a heavier one. See How your monthly translation works for what makes a page cost more or less.

Lexxio is in early access right now. Plans open through the waitlist at lexxio.ai/plans rather than instant checkout. Join with your email, and early-bird pricing locks in for your first 12 months once your account activates.
